Sparkly Vernis - Gilded Lemon Drops and Mint Frosting

Imagine my delight when I found out that the lovely lady over at the Sparkly Vernis blog had decided to put forth her own line of polish. Right off the bat she is doing it right with a fabulous website, great square bottles with a classy simplistic design and holos! I was lucky enough to win a bottle in a giveaway, and she was kind enough to send another along for review, along with an unnamed mini that I didn't have time to swatch today, but I shall in the future.

First up we have Gilded Lemon Drops, 2 coats with no topcoat.

Next, we have Mint Frosting, also 2 coats with no topcoat.

These dry quickly with a matte finish and I had no issues at all with application. The formula is such that you could quite possibly make them 1 coat wonders with a careful hand and a just-full-enough brush. Though not as strong, they maintain their blingyness indoors, but all of those pictures sucked.

They retail for $12.99 USD for the holos, while the other polishes retail for $9.99 USD, and shipping is free in the USA. You can find them for sale on her website.

I would like to thank the lovely Ms. Vernis for sending this to the ever so grateful moi.

  1. I love glitter polishes, but they are a bit challenging to remove- any suggestions?
